A community of designers—including FIT students and faculty, Mara Hoffman, and Sarah Nsikak (La Réunion)—created this zero-waste collection with textile arts made in the natural dye workshops in Modiya and Grand-Bassam. Funds generated from the pieces were reinvested to support the artisans that created the textiles. Masks made by Camella Ehlke of GoodGood Community were sent in care packages to the women artisans of Modiya to help them stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
